ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: Turn the power off (unplug from the wall outlet) before
replacing the bulb, making sure the bulb has had sufcient
time to cool down. Do not subject the lamp to any shock
while lit as shattering of bulb may result.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other) as a feature to reduce risk of electric shock, this
plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If it does not t
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, con-
tact a qualied electrician. Never use with an extension cord
unless the plug can be fully inserted.
DO NOT ALTER THE PLUG.
NOTE: Do not connect the electricity until lamp is fully
assembled.
1. Unpack all parts, place base (G) on a level surface.
2. Remove nial (A) from harp (C).
3. Squeeze harp (C) inward and place into the opening of
saddle (E).
4. Slide center ring of shade spider (located inside shade (B))
over threaded nipple on harp (C).
5. Screw nial (A) onto threaded nipple of harp (C) to secure
shade to lamp.
6. Install one (1) 100W max. Type A, medium base bulb into
socket (D).
7. Carefully tilt lamp to one side and install one (1) 7W max.
Type B, Candelabra base bulb into socket (F). Return lamp to
upright position.
8. Remove protective plastic (H) from polarized plug (I).
9. Insert polarized plug (I) into wall outlet.
Caution: To clean, use a soft cloth only. Do not use any
chemical or abrasive cleaners.
