ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2. Remove all parts carefully from the carton. Do not throw away any parts.
3. Remove hang straight (F) from chain (H) by detaching quick link (G) from chain (H), while keeping cross bar (A), threaded
tube (C), canopy (D) and collar (E) together.
4. Measure desired drop for xture to hang. Using chain break tools (S), remove links in chain (H) to achieve desired drop. To
open chain links, place a soft cloth around the link and slide one of the chain break tools (S) onto the link. Slide the second
tool onto the link with the handles facing the opposite directions (see diagram). To prevent damage to the link, the back of
chain break tools (S) must rest against the link while applying force. Holding one chain break tool (S) in a xed position,
rotate the second chain break tool (S) to open the link. NOTE: Do not rotate the link more than 45 degrees. Rotate open link in
chain (H) to a closed position to secure xture.
5. Reattach quick link (G) to the top chain link (H).
6. Unthread collar (E) from hang straight (F), and carefully slide it down chain (H) so it rests on top of loop (J).
7. Slide canopy (D) down chain (H) so it rests on top of loop (J).
8. Ax cross bar (A) (with threaded tube (C) and hangstraight (F) attached) to ceiling outlet box using cross bar screws (B)
provided.
9. Lift xture to ceiling and secure quick link (G) to hang straight (F). Guide the wire exiting the xture through the center of
collar (E) and canopy (D). Continue to guide the wire through chain (H), quick link (G) and through the center of hang
straight (F) and threaded tube (C).
10. Cut the cord to the desired length to make electrical connections. At least 8” of wire will be needed to make proper electrical
connections.
11. Make proper electrical connections described in steps 12-14. A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
12. Attach ground wire from the xture (green or copper in color) to the ground wire in outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (R) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
13. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color, or smooth side of wire) to hot wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires together
with wire nut (R) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
14. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to neutral wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires
together with wire nut (R) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
15. Gently push wire connections back into ceiling outlet box. Slide canopy (D) up chain (H) and hold rmly against ceiling.
Slide collar (E) up chain (H) and thread onto hang straight (F), securing canopy (D) against ceiling.
16. Install two 60 WATT MAX. Type G16.5, Candelabra Base bulbs into sockets (M).
17. Carefully hang small crystals (Q) onto bottom shade arms (O).
18. Repeat step 16 using medium crystals (P) on middle shade arms (N) and then once more using large crystals (L) on top shade
arms (K).
19. Reconnect main electrical supply from the fuse box/ circuit breaker and test the xture.
***To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.***
*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before beginning the installation of
your xture.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn o power at switch before replacing bulbs
*If any special control devices are used with this xture, follow the instructions carefully to assure full compliance with N.E.C.
requirements. If there are any questions, contact a qualied electrical contractor.
*UL rated for dry locations.
