BLAKE 18” ENTRY PENDANT
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE
MAIN FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2. Remove all parts from carton. Do not throw away any parts.
3. Remove all packaging material from xture.
4. Set metal shade frame (M) upright on level surface.
5. Unscrew nials (Q) from arms (R), and metal shade frame (M). Set
xture components aside so metal shade frame (M) stands alone.
6. Carefully slide glass shade panel (L) into metal shade frame (M)
as shown in diagram.
7. To secure shade panel in place, use screw (N) to attach bracket (O)
to metal band (P). Repeat steps 5 and 6 until each glass shade panel
(L) is installed.
8. Re-attach xture components to shade (M) by threading nials (Q)
through holes in arms (R). PLEASE NOTE: Arms (R) may move
inward when not attached to metal shade frame (M). As a result, it
may be necessary to pull slightly on arms (R) to get them to align
with holes in shade frame (M) when attempting to reattach parts.
9. Remove quick link (F) from hang straight (E). Keep quick link (F)
attached to chain (I).
10. Remove cross bar (B) (with threaded nipple (D) and hang straight
(E) attached) by unscrewing collar (H). Afx cross bar (B) to
“J-BOX” using screws (C) provided.
11. Carefully slide threaded collar (H) and canopy (G) down chain (I)
until they rest on housing (K).
12. Determine desired height of xture and add / remove chain links
(I) with chain break tool (not included).
13. Once desired drop is reached, lift xture to ceiling and secure
quick link (F) to hang straight (E). Carefully guide wire through
chain (I) and through hang straight (E) into J-BOX.
14. Make proper electrical connections noted in steps 15 through 17.
A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
15. Attach ground wire from xture (green or copper in color) to
ground wire from outlet box.
16. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of
wire) to hot wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire
nut (A) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
17. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of
wire) to neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (A) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
18. Gently push wires back into J-BOX.
19. Slide canopy (G) up chain (I) and hold ush against ceiling. To
secure position of canopy (G), slide collar (H) up chain (I) and
thread onto hang straight (E).
20. Install (5) 60W MAX. B10 Torpedo bulbs (not included) into
sockets.
***To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive
cleaners.***

*These instructions are provided for your safety.
*It is very important that they are read completely before
beginning the installation of your xture.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs, making sure
xture has had sufcient time to cool down.
*DO NOT subject the xture to any shock while lit as
shattering of bulbs may result.
