ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before beginning the installation of your xture.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn o power at switch before replacing bulbs.
*If any special control devices are used with this xture, follow the instructions carefully to assure full compliance with N.E.C. requirements. If there
are any questions, contact a qualied electrical contractor.
*This xture is UL rated for dry locations.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
***To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.***
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE
MAIN FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2. Remove all parts carefully from the carton. Do not throw away any
parts.
3. Remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (C) by removing canopy
screws (D). Set canopy screws (D) aside.
4. Carefully pull the wiring from the ceiling outlet box. Thread the
wires through the center hole in mounting plate (A).
5. Ax mounting plate (A) to ceiling outlet box with mounting
screws (B), provided.
6. Measure desired drop for xture to hang and add/remove extension
tubes (H) to reach desired position. Guide wiring through extension
tubes before threading tubes together. **TO ADD/ REMOVE
EXTENSIONS: (Un)Thread the threaded tube of one extension out
of/ into the threaded opening of the next extension. Make sure
wiring is pulled tight when threading extensions together to prevent
damage to the wire.**
7. Thread bottom extension tube (H) onto threaded tube (I).
8. Secure quick link (F) to hang straight (E).
9. Guide wire exiting the xture through loop (G), quick link (F),
through the center of the hang straight (E), and up through the hole
in the canopy (C).
10. Cut the cord to the desired length to make electrical connections.
Note: At least 8 inches of wire is needed to make proper electrical
connections.
11. Lift canopy (C) to mounting plate (A) and make proper electrical
connections described in steps 12-14. A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
12. Attach ground wire from the xture (green or copper in color) to
the ground wire in outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut
(L) and tightly wrap connection with electical tape.
13. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color, or smooth side of
wire) to hot wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires together
with wire nut (L) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
14. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of
wire) to neutral wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires
together with wire nut (L) and tightly wrap connection with
electrical tape.
15. Gently push wire conections back into ceiling outlet box. Slide
canopy (C) over mounting plate (A). Thread screws (D) into holes
in canopy (C) to secure xture to ceiling.
16. Slide shade (J) over socket (K). Repeat for remaining shades.
17. Thread nial (N) onto arm (M). Repeat for reamining nials.
18. Install six 60W MAX. Type B, candelabra base bulbs into
sockets (K).
19. Reconnect main electrical supply at the fuse box/circuit breaker
and test xture.
