ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR
VIENNA CHANDELIER

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
**SHUT OFF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AT CIRCUIT BREAKER**
1. Remove all parts carefully from the carton. Arrange bags containing glass parts according to the row number labeled on the outside
of the bag. Do not throw away any parts.
2. Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (F) by removing nials (G).
3. Lift mounting plate (B) to the ceiling outlet box. Once aligned in the desired position, use a pencil to mark the locations
of mounting holes (D) on the outside edges of the mounting plate.
4. Set the mounting plate aside and drill small holes at the marked locations. Holes should be sized so anchors (L) can be
threaded securely inside.
5. Thread anchors (L) into the holes. Lift mounting plate (B) to the ceiling. Pull the wires from the outlet box through the center
of the mounting plate. Attach mounting plate (B) to ceiling outlet box using screws (E). Thread screws (M) through holes (D)
and into wall anchors (L) for additional support in attaching the mounting plate to the ceiling.
6. Attach the exetensions to the canopy.
**TO ADD EXTENSIONS: Thread the nipple of one extension into the opening of the next extension.
Make sure electrical cord is pulled tight when threading extensions together to prevent damage to the wiring.**
7. Thread bottom extension (K) onto threaded tube (J).
8. Lift canopy (F) to mounting plate (B) and make proper electrical connections in steps 9-11.
A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
9. Attach ground wire from xture (green or silver in color) to ground wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A).
Wrap connection with electrical tape.
10. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of wire to hot wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (A). Wrap connection with electrical tape.
11. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together
with wire nut (A). Wrap connection with electrical tape.
12. Carefully push wire connections back into ceiling outlet box. Slide canopy (F) over mounting plate (B). Threaded tubes (C) will
protrude through canopy (F). Attach nials (G) to threaded tubes (C) to secure canopy to ceiling.
13. Install 3-100W max., Type A, medium base bulb into sockets (I).
14. Carefully hang the glass pieces on the canopy. NOTE: The bags containing glass pieces are labled with a row number that
corresponds to a row of hooks on canopy (F). See Figure 1 for row placement on canopy (F). Remove glass piece from bag.
Hang the glass piece by placing the end loop of chain onto hook (H) in the corresponding row.
15. Row 1, the longest chains (6 total), should be placed on two innermost rows of hooks surrounding sockets (I).
16. Row 2, the second to longest chains (12 total), should be placed on the two rows of hooks surrounding Row 1.
17. Row 3, the third to longest chains (16 total), should be placed on the two rows of hooks surrounding Row 2.
18. Row 4, the shortest chains (20 total, single piece of glass), should be placed on the outermost row of hooks surrounding Row 3.
19. Once glass pieces stop moving it will be necesary to carefully rotate them into the desired positions.
20. Reconnect power and test xture.
** To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners. **
