ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AT FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT
BREAKER.
2. Remove all parts from carton. Do not throw away any parts.
3. Remove quick link (F) from hang straight (E). Keep quick link (F) attached to
loop (G).
4. Remove cross bar (B) (with threaded nipple (D) and hang straight (E)
attached) from canopy (H) by unscrewing collar (I). Afx cross bar (B) to
ceiling outlet box using screws (C) provided.
5. Carefully slide threaded collar (I) and canopy (H) down extensions (J) until they
rest on housing (K).
6. Measure desired drop for xture to hang and add/remove extension tubes (J) to
reach desired position. Guide wiring through extension tubes before
threading tubes together.
**TO ADD/REMOVE EXTENSIONS: (Un)Thread the threaded nipple of one
extension out of/ into the threaded opening of the next extension. Make sure
wiring is pulled tight when threading extensions together to prevent damage
to the wire.**
7. Thread bottom extension tube (J) into threaded opening in housing (K).
8. Connect quick link (M), on the end of cable (L) to bracket (N). Repeat step for
remaining cables.
9. Lift xture to ceiling and secure quick link (F) to hang straight (E). Carefully
guide wire through hang straight (E) and threaded nipple (D) into ceiling outlet
box.
10. Make proper electrical connections noted in steps 11-13. A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
11. Attach ground wire from xture (green or copper in color) to ground wire from
outlet box.
12. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of wire) to hot wire
from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and tightly wrap
connection with electrical tape.
13. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to
neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and
tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
14. Gently push wires back into ceiling outlet box.
15. Slide canopy (H) up extensions (J) and hold ush against ceiling. To secure
position of canopy (H), slide collar (I) up extensions (J) and thread onto hang
straight (E).
16. Install eighteen (18) 40W MAX. Type A bulbs into sockets (O), located inside
metal frame (P).
***To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.***
*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are
read completely before beginning the installation of your xture.
*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN.
*Turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs, making sure xture has had
sufcient time to cool down.
*DO NOT subject the xture to any shock while lit as shattering of bulbs may
result.
