Cool Shield
™
Heat Bond Iron is a must-have to easily install carpet like a pro. It quickly melts 3"
wide heat bond tape with a cooler top shield, which minimizes heat transfer to the carpet and prevents damage
to the carpet fibers. Even on the highest setting of 425°F, the patented Cool Shield technology reaches a
maximum heat shield temperature of 256°F. Featuring an adjustable thermostat with heating indicator light,
the “S" shaped heating element in this heat bond iron provides even heating and
longer heat retention.
