This product is an encapsulated mixture which reduces the likelihood of exposure to hazardous particulates. Airborne exposures to
hazardous dusts or mists may be generated by spraying, sanding or grinding.
SECTION 4: First-Aid Measures
Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. Consult physician if necessary.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Consult physician if necessary.
Eye Contact: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult physician if necessary.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Wash mouth with water. Consult physician.
Note to Physician: Eyes: Stain for evidence of corneal injury. If cornea is burned, instill antibiotic steroid preparation.
Skin: This compound is a known skin sensitizer. Treat symptomatically as for contact dermatitis or thermal
burns. If burned, treat as thermal burn. Ingestion: Treat symptomatically. There is no specific antidote.
Inducing vomiting is contraindicated because of the irritating nature of this compound. Respiratory:
Treatment is essentially symptomatic. Remove individual with symptoms from exposure and assist in
breathing if necessary.
SECTION 5: Fire-Fighting Measures
Extinguishing Media: This product is not flammable. Use fire- extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.
Hazardous Combustion Products: No particular hazards known.
Protection of Firefighters: Firefighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus and turn-out gear.
SECTION 6: Accidental Release Measures
Personal Precautions: Use protective gloves, goggles and suitable protective clothing.
Environmental Precautions: Do not allow product to get into drains, soil, or surface water.
Methods of Clean-up: Small Spillages: Absorb with sand or other inert absorbent. Large Spillages: Dam and absorb spillages.
Collect spillage in containers, seal securely and deliver for disposal according to local regulations. Wear
necessary protective equipment.
SECTION 7: Handling and Storage
Handling Precautions: Provide good ventilation. Do not use in confined spaces without adequate ventilation and/or respirator.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product.
Storage: Keep separate from food, feedstuffs, fertilizers and other sensitive material. Store in closed original
container at temperatures between 5°Cand 30°C/ 40°F and 86°F. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
