TOP TIPS
• Ask your plumber to install
isolator filter stops, when fitting
any sink mixer.
The stainless steel filter protects
the ceramic cartridge inside the
tap from particles of dirt or grit
that sometimes go through the
water supply.
The isolator can be used to
balance your water supply for a
better mix
of hot and cold water.
Isolators can also be used to turn
off the water supply, if you need
to work on the tap or replace it.
Using isolators makes taps easy
to install, which reduces labour
costs, and may also be required
for the manufacturer’s warranty.

Consider installing a soap
dispenser into your sink
bench – this can be filled with
dishwashing liquid or flowing
soap. It’s easy to install and can
be refilled from the top.
