WARNING:
Protection against infection
• Refer to the operator's manual for
the proper cleaning and disinfection
instructions for this system.
• For multiple patient use, the meter
should be cleaned and disinfected
between each patient use following
standard precautions and the cleaning
and disinfecting procedures found in
the ACCU-CHEK Inform II Operator's
Manual.
• Use gloves. Wear a new pair of clean
gloves for testing each patient.
• Wash hands thoroughly with soap
and water before putting on a new
pair of gloves and performing the
next patient test.
• Use an auto-disabling single-use
lancing device for each patient.
