2. Logon to SERVERB as ps_user.
Synchronizing Server Databases on Redundant Servers
The following can be performed on the Primary or Backup Server.
1. Click Start
⇒Programs⇒ProcessLogix Server⇒Station.
2. Click View
⇒System Status⇒Server Redundancy to call up the
Server redundancy display.
3. Click the Oper field in the lower right corner of the display.
4. Key in >mngr< in the Station Logon prompt and click OK.
5. Click Synchronize. When the Synchronize Databases (Y/N)
prompt appears, key in >Y< in the entry field above the display
and press <Enter>.
6. Wait for the synchronization to complete (“Synchronization
Complete” prompt appears) and verify that the display shows
simulated Green LED indications for the following states:
Primary Server
•
Running
Backup Server
• Synchronized
• Running
Link Status
• Link 0 (LNK00) - Active link
7. Click Station
⇒Exit.
8. Click Yes to exit Station.
IMPORTANT
All R400.0 Systems are required to use the ps_user
account. This is a change from R320.0, where most
systems used the plx_user account.
