ProcessLogix Server Upgrade Procedures 4-3
Upgrade R400.0 SP2 Server to R510.0
This section describes the steps necessary to upgrade the
ProcessLogix R400.0 SP2 Server software to R510.0. There are two
upgrade options.
Option 1: Upgrading R400.0 SP2 Server to R510.0 - Clean Install
a. Backup your data.
b. Complete a clean install.
c. Restore your data.
The following table lists the items in Option 1 that you MUST
complete to upgrade an R400.0 SP2 Server to an R510.0 Server.
IMPORTANT
Due to the nature of this upgrade, it is strongly
recommended that you follow Option 1 when
upgrading from R400.0 SP2 to R510.0.
TIP
Upon restarting the system, you may receive a
message that a service failed to start. If you receive
this message, click OK.
