A RETRACEBUFFER WAS DELETED The control requiredone (ormore) of theblock retrace buffers toperform anecessary block
look-ahead operation (refer toblock look-aheadin theusersmanual). When this occurs, less
block retraceoperations canbe performedthan AMPis configuredto allow. If this erroroccurs,
to improve control efficiency, it is recommended that thenumber of allowableblock retrace
blocks set inAMP belowered or addadditional RAM toyou system.
ABS POSITIONNOT INITIALIZED Thismessage indicatesthat axes withabsolute encodershave not beenhomed. These axes
require an initial homingoperation toestablish theabsolute position.
ABSOLUTE FEEDBACKFAILURE The controlhas detecteda lossof feedback from theabsolute encoder. The most likely cause
of this errorwould bea brokenor disconnectedwire. Axis homingmay berequired after the
error conditionis corrected.
ACC/DEC CONFIGURATION ERROR An axisconfiguration error wasdetercted by the controlwhen manual acc/dec wasrequested in
a program block.
ACCUM. AND EXPECTEDLIFE ARE 0 No toollife datawas enteredfor the current toolselected by the toollife management feature.
Tool lifemanagement will bedisabled for thistool.

AMP INBACKUP DOES NOTMATCH AMPIN RAM Thismessage alwaysappears after asuccessful AMP downloadif the downloadedfile is
different fromthe one currently storedin backupmemory. Its purpose is to remindthe user to
copy thedownloaded AMPinto backupmemory aftertesting it.
