Message Description
DEPTH PROBETRAVEL LIMIT The adaptivedepth probehas movedto itsAMPed travellimit. Note the value entered in AMP
is theadaptive depthprobe deflectionfrom thePAL determinedprobe zeropoint. It may not be
the actual total probedeflection.
DEPTH PROBENOT SUPPORTED A depth probeaxis hasbeen AMPedon anaxis locatedon aservo cardor a9/230 that does
not support the adaptive depth feature. (analog servorev <rev 0.10 or 3 axis9/260 9/290
digital servocards)
DESKEW OPTIONNOT INSTALLED If the AMPedname specifyingthe deskewslave servo is not zero, orthe AMPed name
specifying the deskew masterservo isnot zero, and theoption flag for deskewis zero, thenthe
system isheld inE-Stop.
DEVICE ALREADYOPENED An attempt wasmade toopen adevice fordownload or upload from portsA or B whenthe
device was already opened.
DEVICE NOTOPENED YET Theready signal wasnot received whenattempting to send data toor communicate witha
peripheral deviceconnected tocommunication portsA or B.
DIAMETER AXISMISCONFIGURED An invalidaxis hasbeen configuredas thediameter axis.
DIRECTORY CHANGED TO MAINDIRECTORY When a password is entered that does not have accessto theprotectable part program
directory andthe protectablepart program directoryis currently selected, thecontrol changes
the selected directory tothe maindirectory.
DISP SELECTNOT ALLOWED You cannot use thedisplay select functionswhile theonline PAL searchmonitor utility isactive.
Leave the search monitor utility beforeyou tryto select adisplay.
DIVIDE BYZERO ERROR Asystem software errorhas occurred. Consult Allen-Bradley customer support services.
(DO) NUMBERALREADY USED When executinga program, an attempt was madeto activatea DO loop that has the sameloop
identifier (DO1, 2, or 3) as analready activeloop inthe program. Provided theyare not nested
loops, the same loop identifier can beused morethan oncein aprogram .
(DO) RANGES INTERSECT DO loopsare improperly nested. A DOloop that isnested withinanother DO loop does not
have an END commandbefore theoriginal DOloop ENDoccurs.
DRESS CANCELDEFERRED TO G40 Thein--process dresser cannot becanceled (made inactive) whiledresser/wheel radius
compensation is active. If an attempt to cancel thein--process dresser ismade, the controlwill
postpone the request until dresser/wheelradius compensationis canceledwith aG40 (notethat
M02, M30, and M99 can also cancel compensation).
DRESSER AXISNOT ALLOWED Anattempt was madeto program thedresser axis whenthe over the wheeldresser feature has
been activated through PAL. You cannot program thedresser axis whenthe overthe wheel
dresser featureis active.
DRESSER FLANGELIMIT REACHED Whiledressing thegrinding wheelthe wheelsize reached the entered flangelimit. You should
stop dressing the wheel before damageto thewheel flangeoccurs.
DRESSER MINIMUMLIMIT REACHED Thecurrent dressing operationwould dressthe grindingwheel belowthe minimum wheel
diameter asspecified onthe dresser statusscreen. This dressingoperation willnot be
performed.
DRESSER MISCONFIGURED One of the AMP parameters for thedresser axis hasnot been configuredproperly. Either the
dresser axis, thevertical axis, or someother axis nameis not avalid axisin thesystem. You
must re-configure your AMP. Refer to your AMPmanual for details.
DRESSER MIS-POSITIONED Wheelre-enable wasrequested with IPD activeand wheelis morethan 4inch-programming
counts (hard-codeamount) away fromits previouslyactive absoluteposition. Wheel dressing
does not start.
DRESSER NOTINITIALIZED This error isgenerated if anattempt is madeto activatethe in--process dresser beforethe
dresser hasbeen initializedthrough awheel calibrationoperation.
DRESSER NOT/MISCONFIGURED The grinder over-the-wheel dresser featureissues this messagewhen a wheel isinitialized and
the dresser parameters in AMP have beenmisconfigured. This messageis issuedwhen the
dresser axis, dresser verticalaxis, or dresser other axishas not beenselected, or has been
AMPed to have common axes, or hasbeen AMPedto bea non-existent axisname.
