Message Description
DRESSER WARNING LIMITREACHED Theaxis specifiedas thedresser axis hasbeen dressedsmaller than thedresser warning limit
value as specified onthe dresserstatus page.
DRILL AXIS CONFIGURATION ERROR The drillingaxis isnot a currentlyconfigured machineaxis. On dualprocessing controlsthis
message may result when thedrilling axisis inanother process. The drillingaxis must bea
configured axis in thecurrent process andshould not bethe slaveof a dualaxis (drillaxis
should be the master axis for dualgroup). On machineswith dualaxes, this messagecan
mean the axis configuredin AMPas thefixed-drilling axisis aslave axis. The drill axis should
be the master axis.
DUAL AXES MASTER&SLAVE PROCESS NOTSAME When configuringa dualaxis ona dualprocessing system, configureAMP soall axesin the
dual axisgroup arein thesame sourceprocess evenif the dualaxis groupis shared.
DUAL AXES PARK LOGIC CANNOTCHANGE An attempt wasmade, using dualaxes, to changethe current parkstatus. At this point, the
request will not beallowed.
DUAL GROUP AXES MUST HAVE SAME ROLLOVER Allrotary axesin adual axes groupmust have thesame rollover value. These rollover values
are set in AMP.
DUAL LATHE-MUSTUSE PROCESS1,2 Dual lathemust have theactive processesbe thefirst 2 availablein AMP; 3or 4 should not be
configured as an activeprocess.
DUAL MASTER&SLAVERAD/DIAM CONFIGERR The slaveof a dualgroup hasbeen defined as adiameter axis. The OEM must definethe
master tobe adiameter axis andthe system willchange theslave tobe a diameter axis. When
the group is decoupledthe slavewill continueto takeon themaster’s rad/diamtraits.
DUAL PLANE CONFIGURATION ERROR In AMP youhave defineda planewith anaxis anda masterand aslave in the wrong order. For
example: If the system has4 axesYXZU andZU are duals, if an AMPedplane isZX, then UX
can not be and AMPed plane. It must be XU(refer to your AMPreference manualfor details).
DUAL SLAVEOR SPLITAXIS NOTALLOWED Neither a dualslave, nor a split axis (deskew axis) maybe programmed in a G24, G25, or G26
block.
DUALS CANNOTCHANGE OFFSETS INCIRCULAR Anattempt was made, usingdual axes, toaccount for an offset change ina circularmove.
Dual offset changes canonly bemade inlinear blocks.
DUALS ONLY ALLOWINGSINGLE AXIS HOME Anattempt was made to homemultiple axesin adual groupwhen PAL onlyallows oneaxis at a
time to be homed. PAL canbe changedto allowhoming of multipleaxes ina dualgroup.
DUALPORTPTOTEST FAILED The Dualport failedthe diagnostictest and thebootstrapping operation is skipped. Consult
Allen-Bradley customersupport services.
DUPLICATE 1394 SLOT The1394 rackID andslot number AMP entriesare thesame for twoor more servos. Each axis
module in a 1394 rack must havean individual address.
DUPLICATE 7300 PATTERN NAME An attempt was madeto enter a 7300pattern namethat already exists.
DUPLICATE DUAL MASTERNAMES Bothdual master axesnames havethe sameletter.
DUPLICATE I/O RINGDEVICE Two or moreof the same type of device on the I/Oring havethe samedevice addressswitch
setting.
DUPLICATE PROGRAM Anattempt was madeto renamea program incontrol memoryusing thesame programname
(or number) of another programalready inmemory.
DUPLICATE PROGRAM NAME Anattempt was madeto storeor copy aprogram in controlmemory usingthe sameprogram
name (or number) of another program already inmemory.
DWELL VALUENOT PROGRAMMED A G04 Dwellor a parameter requesting adwell at holebottom in afixed drillingcycle was
programmed with no value assignedto thelength of thedwell.
E
(E) AND(F) IN SAME BLOCK In aG32 block(Lathe A)or G33 block (Lathe B & C), both leads were programmed in the same
block.
EMPTY PROGRAM WAS DELETEDFROM DIRECTORY The current programbeing editedwas savedand containedno programblocks. This program
was deletedfrom the control’s programdirectory.
