Message Description
MISSING I/O RING DEVICE The I/Oassignment file that wascompiled anddownloaded withPAL definesan I/Oring device
that is not physicallypresent in theI/O ring. Verifythat all deviceaddress settingsare correct.
MISSING INTEGRAND/RADIUS WORD A circularor helical blockhas beenprogrammed withaxis dataand noradius (R) orintegrand (I,
J, or K) values. A radius orintegrand must be programmed in acircular or helical blockto
define the location of the arc center.
MISSING KEYBOARD AND HPGFROM I/O RING The I/Oassignment file that wascompiled anddownloaded withPAL defines akeyboard and an
HPG that is not physically present inthe I/Oring. Also verify that the keyboardand HPG
address settingsare correct.
MISSING KEYBOARD FROM I/O RING The I/O assignment file that was compiled and downloaded with PAL definesa keyboardthat is
not physically present inthe I/Oring. Verifythat the keyboard address settingsare correct.
MISSING L-WORD The L-word parameter ismissing from theG88.5 or G88.6hemispherical pocket programming
block.
MISSING M02 OR M30 The controlhas executedthrough tothe last blockof a programand hasnot read an
end-of-program command(M02 or M30).
MISSING MASTER AXIS NAME Slaveaxes that donot have amaster have beenconfigured for adual group.
MISSING OR ILLEGAL L-VALUE An attempt was made toprogram anirregular pocket milling cycle(G89) with amissing orillegal
L-word.
MISSING PROGRAM NAME Anoperation, such asa copyor rename, was performedwithout the proper programnames
being specified. The proper format consistsof the program performingthe operationfollowed by
a comma and the target program (OLDPROGRAM NAME,NEW PROGRAM NAME).
MISSING PROGRAM NUMBER (P) No sub-program namewas specifiedin ablock that callsa sub-program or paramacro. A
sub-rogram namemust be programmedwith aP-word inthe callingblock.
MISSING PROMPT DATA The control iswaiting for data tobe enteredon theinput line (line2 of theCRT) usingthe keys
on the operator panel.
MISSING Q-WORD The Q-word parameter ismissing from theG88 orG89 programmingblock.
MISSING QPP ANGLE WORD The second blockof a twoblock QPP set doesnot contain thenecessary angleword todefine
an intersection with the first block.
MISSING ROUGHING CYCLE (P/Q) WORD A roughing cycleblock wasprogrammed that doesnot contain botha startingand ending
sequence number for the contour blocksas programmedwith theP- and Q-words.
MISSING ROUGHING CYCLE DEPTH(D) WORD A roughingcycle blockwas programmedthat does not containthe Dparameter for depth of cut.
MISSING SHADOW RAM Either your 9/290control is missingthe SIMMSnecessary forshadow RAM, or your9/260
control isnot equipped withenough RAMto operateproperly. If your 9/260 system contains
both the DH+ module andthe searchmonitor utility, additional RAM must beinstalled. All 9/290
controls must havethis additionalRAM. Refer to your 9/Series installationand maintenance
manual for detailson installing SIMMS.
MISSING SLAVEINCREMENTAL AXIS NAME Whenusing dualaxes onLathe A, allslave axesmust have incrementalaxis names.
MISSING START PARENTHESIS An error occurredin G05 DH+ communications blocks.
MISSING TOOL ENTRY This is missinga toolentry.
MODULE(S) WITHINCONSISTENT REVISIONLEVEL Retrythe updateutility. If this doesnot work, call Allen-Bradleyand request anew updateutility
that matches yourhardware revisionlevel.
MODULE(S) WITHINVALID CHECKSUM Retry update.
MOTION INDWELL BLOCK Anattempt was made to program axismotion inthe sameblock that generatesa dwell. No axis
words canbe programmedin ablock that generatesa dwell.
MOTION NOTALLOWED The blockincludes G-codesthat must be programmedin ablock without axismotion. For
example, the G-codes that convert from inch to metricor metric toinch cannot haveaxis motion
in the same block.
MOTORSHAFT - LEAD SCREW RATIO TOO HIGH Themotor shaft to lead screw gearratio is too highto achievethe rapid speed assigned inAMP.
