Message Description
SERVOAMP CLOOP GAIN ERROR Oneof the followingAMP parameter errorsexist::
Current Prop. Gain + Current Integral Gain < 4096
or
Current Prop. Gain - Current Integral Gain > 0.
SERVOAMP ERROR There is anerror inone or moreof the AMPparameters relativeto servocontrol or anabsolute
feedback encoderfailed toinitialize.
SERVOAMP FDBKPORTERROR The feedback port assignments inAMP arewrong; for example, two servosare usingthe same
feedback port onthe sameservo module.
SERVOAMP FELIMITS CORRECT One or moreof the followingAMP parameters werechanged to satisfy thefollowing equation:
Inposition Band £ Gain Break Point £ Feedrate Suppression £ Excess Error
The servo module would havedisabled control operationif these parameters were not changed.
SERVOAMP IDSPEED CORRECT Oneor more of thefollowing AMPparameters werechanged tosatisfy thefollowing equation:
o/ < Motor speed at starting Id < Motor speed at Id Break Point < Max. Motor Speed
The servo module would havedisabled control operationif these parameters were not changed.
SERVOAMP OUTPUTPORTERROR Theoutput ports asassigned inAMP are wrong; for example, two servoson thesame boardare
assigned to the same output port.
SERVOAMP VLOOP GAIN ERROR One of thefollowing AMP parameter errors exist:
Velocity Prop. Gain + Velocity Integral Gain < 65536
or
Velocity Prop. Gain -- Velocity Integral Gain > 0
SERVOAMP, AMP TYPE ERROR The AMP parametersspecifying amplifiertypes andconnectors arecontradictory.
SERVOAMPLIFIER FAULT Thisindicates that afault signal hasbeen receivedfrom a servoamplifier. It can usuallybe
corrected by turning off power to theamplifier, and thenback on.
SERVOBUSY DURINGHOMING OPERATION This error indicates that theservo processorwas unableto respondduring a homing operation.
It can occur under the unusualcondition resultingfrom two ormore servo axes reachingtheir
home point simultaneously. Generally, theaxes canbe re-homedwith noproblems.
SERVOCONFIGURATION ERROR The AMPservo configurationis inconsistent. An exampleof this errorwould beif the
downloaded AMP file wereconfigured for onlytwo axes, when the AMP parameter Number of
Motors onFirst Board wasset for three.
SERVOCOMMUNICATIONS ERROR A communicationserror occurred betweenthe controland theservo module.
SERVOCURRENT LOOP ERROR While running an axis, the allowablecurrent loop proportional erroror current loopintegral error
has goneout of range.
SERVOINTERFACE FAILURE Theservo interfacediagnostics performedon power-uphave failed. Attempt to power upagain.
If the error remains, contact Allen-Bradley customer support services.
SERVOPOS &VEL FB SIGNERR Thisis a power turn-on error whichoccurs whenthe signsof the positionand velocityfeedback
devices donot match whena commonfeedback port isused forboth.
SERVOPOWER UPSEQUENCE ERROR Theservo processor diagnosticsperformed onpower-up havefailed. Attempt to power up
again. If the error remains, contact Allen-Bradleycustomer support services.
SERVOPOWERUP DIAGNOSTICSFAILURE The servomodule diagnosticsperformed on power-up have failed. Possible causesinclude
incorrect servo AMP parameters beingdownloaded. An examplewould beconfiguring AMPfor
five axes when thereis onlyone servomodule installed.
SERVOPROCESSOR ASSIGNMENTERROR Too many servos wereAMPed or aservo was assigned toa non-existent servo processor. The
system isheld inE-Stop. The messageindicates anerror in thetotal number of fittedaxes and
spindles, or inthe AMPedvalues of:
Number of Motorson 1st board
Number of Motorson 2ndboard.
