Operating Behavior

Either Max or Min may be selected as operating behavior; either Active or Passive may be selected as

operating mode (See Limit switch). Range of application:

•Switching direction MAX, mode of operation Active: Alarm if trip value exceeded,

for example buzzer on

•Switching direction MAX, mode of operation Pa ss ive : Overfill protection, monitoring of excessive RPM,

for example pump/drive off; in case of large hysteresis MIN-MAX mode (on/off )

•Switching direction MIN, mode of operation Active: Alarm if trip value exceeded,

for example buzzer on

•Switching direction MIN, mode of operation Passive: Overload protection, monitoring for low speed, for

example pump off if there is no more flow
