c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away

If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek

6. SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
WARNING: Some dust created by power
sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and
other construction activities contains chemicals
known to the state of California to cause cancer,
birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some
examples of these chemicals are:
Lead from lead-based paints;
Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and
other masonry products and
Arsenic and chromium from chemically-
treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending
on how often you do this type of work. To reduce
your exposure to these chemical: work in a well
ventilated area, and work with approved safety
equipment, such as those dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic
particles.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES
FOR YOUR CORDLESS IMPACT
DRIVER
WARNING! Failure to follow these rules
may result in serious personal injury.
1) Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the fastener may contact hidden
wiring. Fasteners contacting a “live” wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live”
and could give the operator an electric shock.
2) Wear ear protection. Exposure to noise can
cause hearing loss.
3) Be aware that this tool is always in an
operating condition because it does not have
to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
4) Always hold the tool with both hands. If the bit
jams, two hands will give you maximum control over
torque reaction or kickback.
5) Disconnect battery pack from the tool or place
switch in the “LOCKED” or “OFF” position
before making any assembly, adjustments
or changing accessories. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool
accidentally.
6) Secure material before driving. Never hold it in
your hand or across your legs.
7) Always wear eye protection when using tool.
Use a dust mask or respirator for applications
which generate dust.
8) Always check walls and ceiling to avoid
hidden power cables and pipes.
9) Use clamps or a vise to hold work-piece
whenever possible.
10) Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently
and use them to instruct others who may use this
tool. If someone borrows this tool, make sure they
have these instructions.
