TheworkingprincipleoftheUPSundernormalutilityconditionsisillustratedasfollows:



Whentheutilityisnormal,theACsourceisrectifiedintoDC.Theutilityispartiallyfedintothe

chargertochargebatteryandpartiallyfedintotheinverter.TheinverterchangestheDCtoAC

tosupplypowertotheloadconnected.TheutilityLEDandinverterLEDlightup.



WhenUtilityisAbnormal/Absent



TheworkingprincipleoftheUPSunderabnormalutilityconditionsisillustratedasfollows:



1.Whentheutilityisabnormal,theUPSwillautomaticallydirectthebatterypowertothe

inverterandturnOFFthechargerandAC/DCconverter.Theinverterwillimmediatelychange

DCtoACtosupplypowertotheoutputload.The  LEDwillbeilluminated.



2.Whentheutilityisbacktonormal,theUPSwillturnONtheAC/DCconverter,turnOFFthe

DC/DCconverterandswitchthechargertoChargingMode.Ithasthesameworkingprinciple

asFigure2.



3.Duringautilityoutage,theUPSwillwork

asillustratedinFigure2.Whenthebatteryislow,a

buzzerwillcontinuouslybeepuntilthebatteryiscompletelyOFF.Thebatterylowprotection

circuitoftheUPSwillshutOFFthebatterysupplyafterapresetthresholdtoavoidover‐

drainingthebattery.The

& (BatteryLow)LEDswilllightupuntiltheUPSiscompletely

shutOFF.TheUPSwillautomaticallyrestartwhentheutilityisavailable.


