3. Enter the string you want to find.
If you enter several strings with blanks between, topics containing all words
are found (same as AND operator).
For advanced search, consider the following:
● To find a defined string of several words, enclose it in quotation marks. For
example, a search for "trigger qualification" finds all topics with exactly
"trigger qualification". A search for trigger qualification finds all topics that
contain the words trigger and qualification.
● Use "Match whole word" and "Match case" to refine the search.
● Use operators AND, OR, and NOT.
To close the Help window
► Select the "Close" icon in the upper right corner of the help window.
Or: Press the ESC key.
6.6 Remote Control
In addition to working with the R&S FPL1000 interactively, located directly at the
instrument, it is also possible to operate and control it from a remote PC. Various
methods for remote control are supported:

Connecting the instrument to a (LAN) network (see Chapter 3.5, "Setting Up a
Network (LAN) Connection", on page 29)
●
Using the LXI browser interface in a LAN network
●
Using the Windows Remote Desktop application in a LAN network
●
Connecting a PC via the GPIB interface
How to configure the remote control interfaces is described in the User Manual.
The R&S FPL1000 is delivered with IECWIN installed, the auxiliary remote
control tool provided free of charge by R&S.
