6 Functional Check
The functional check confirms the basic operation of the R&S RT‑ZS10/20/30
active voltage probe. The functional check is not suitable for verifying compliance
with the probe specifications.
1. Connect the R&S RT‑ZS10/20/30 probe to a Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscope
as described in Chapter 2.1, "Connecting the Probe to the Oscilloscope",
on page 16.
2. Connect the signal pin to the square wave output of the oscilloscope.
3. Connect the ground pin to the probe ground connector of the oscilloscope.
4. Press the [Preset] key and then the [Autoset] key on the oscilloscope.
A square wave with 1 V amplitude between 0 V and 1 V is displayed on the
display.
