Pad and Trigger Settings
This setting allows a trigger signal to be received only when the pad is above a determined force level
(velocity). This can be used to prevent a pad from sounding because of vibrations from other pads.
In the following example, B will sound but A and C will not sound.

Hold down [LEVEL/PAN] and press [TEMPO].
[EDIT] flashes.

Press [EDIT] a few times until “ ” is displayed.
“ ” appears in the display, then the threshold value is indicated.

Hit the pad you wish to set.
The trigger indicator for the struck pad lights.

Press [+] or [-] to set the threshold.
Threshold:
0–15
When set to a higher value, no sound is produced when the pad is struck lightly.
Gradually raise the “Threshold” value while striking the pad. Check this and adjust accordingly. Repeat
this process until you get the perfect setting for your playing style.
5.
Press [EDIT] to continue editing other settings.
6.
When you’re finished, press [DRUM KIT]; the [EDIT] light goes off.
Do not turn off the power without the [EDIT] light having gone out. Otherwise you will lose
the changes you have just made.
