Data in the TD-3’s memory may be
corrupted.
” appears when [DRUM KIT] is pressed. Hold
down [DRUM KIT] once more. Only the settings for the
corrupted portion are subject to Factory Reset (doing so
will erase any changes you have made). If this does not re-
solve the problem, consult your Roland dealer or nearest
Roland Service Center.
A problem has occurred with the inter-
nal system.

A large amount of MIDI messages
were received, and could not be pro-
cessed completely.
Double check your MIDI connections (p. 62, p. 64). If this
does not solve the problem, reduce the amount of MIDI
messages being transmitted to the TD-3.

munication with the external MIDI de-
vice.
Verify your MIDI connections.

The checksum value of a system exclu-
sive message was incorrect.
Correct the checksum value.

The TD-3 failed to receive a MIDI mes-
sage correctly.
Transmit the MIDI message to the TD-3 once again.
