Using Serato Flip
* If “Flip” is not shown, double-click the [MY PRODUCTS] tab in the my
serato screen, and check whether “Serato Flip” is activated.
If the following screen appears, click [ACTIVATE].
5. Make sure that “Enable Serato Flip” has a check mark.
If it does not have a check mark, add a check mark.
6. Close Serato DJ.
7. Turn o the power of the DJ-808, wait about one minute, and
then turn the power on again.
8. Restart Serato DJ.
* After you activate Serato Flip, you must restart Serato DJ. If you don’t
restart, Serato DJ might not respond when you operate the DJ-808.

Flip tab Use this to see the Flip slots.

Flip play/trigger
Use these to turn on the Flip that you want to
recall, and play from the beginning of the Flip.

Flip start time
Each Flip slot shows the start time of the Flip.
When Flip is on, the Flip starts playing when the
song reaches this time.
* You can double-click to assign a name to the
Flip.

Flip slot on/o
Turns the Flip on/o.
Even if Flip is on, Flip playback does not start until
the song reaches the Flip start time.

Flip slot loop If this is highlighted, the Flip plays as a loop.

Flip slot delete Deletes the Flip.

Flip record
Puts the Flip in a record-ready state.
Even if Flip record is on, Flip recording does not
start immediately.
Flip recording starts when playback is started by
hot cue or the [CENSOR] button after Flip record
is turned on.
To end Flip recording, turn Flip record o.

Flip play
Turns Flip on, and starts playback from the
beginning of the Flip.
If the Flip is currently playing, return to the
beginning of the Flip.

Flip on/o
Turns the Flip on/o.
Even if Flip is on, Flip playback does not start until
the song reaches the Flip start time.

Flip loop If this is highlighted, the Flip plays as a loop.

Flip save Saves the recorded Flip in the Flip slot.

Flip loop snap
If this is highlighted, the Flip end point is
automatically adjusted to match the beat location.
