IMPORTANT NOTES In addition to the items listed under "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” and "USING THE UNIT SAFELY" on pages 2 and 3, please read and observe the following: Power Supply * Do not use this unit on the same power circuit with any device that will generate line noise {such as an electric motor or variable lighting system. * Before connecting this unit to other devices, tum off the power to all units. This will help prevent malfunctions and/or damage to speakers or other devices.
3. CH4 Controls CH4 is a mono input channel dedicated to monitoring (-20 DBMS. The signal that is input to CH4 will not be output from the LINE OUT section, but will be output only from the internal speaker and from the headphones. This is a very convenient way to provide sound that is meant only for the performer, such as the talk back from the main PA console, or a click track fo play to when using sequencer accompaniment, efc.
Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices. 1. Make sure that all volume controls on the KC-300 and connected devices are set t0 0, . Turn on the keyboard(s) and sequencer (if you're using one}. 3. Turn on the KC-300. If a mixer is connected to the LINE DUT jack(s} on the KC300, turn on the mixer.
