VALUE ENCODER (Keyboard: A)
This selects the parameter that is transmitted by the VALUE encoder.
The “VALUE ENCODER” setting (
p. 95
) is valid only in PLAY mode (
p. 48
)
In other modes, the VALUE encoder has the same function as the “INC/DEC” buttons (
p. 14
).
Perform steps 1-3.
4.
Use the
[VALUE]
dial, the
[DEC] [INC]
buttons or the
[0]
-
[4]
keys to specify VALUE
ENCODER.
5.
Press the
[ENTER]
button.
0 MIDI CH
Assigns the MIDI CH (
p. 50
) parameter
to the VALUE en-
coder.
MIDI CH: 1–16
1 MEMORY
Assigns the MEMORY SET (
p. 56
,
p. 98
) parameter
to the
VALUE encoder.
MEMORY: 0–F
2
PROGRAM
CHANGE
Assigns the PROGRAM CHANGE (
p. 52
) parameter
to
the VALUE encoder.
PROGRAM CHANGE: 1–128
3
KEY
VELOCITY
Assigns the KEY VELOCITY parameter
to the VALUE en-
coder.
In KEY VELOCITY MODE, the velocity value is fixed.
The PCR-M1 transmits velocity values that correspond to
the force with which you play the keyboard, but if KEY
VELOCITY is assigned to the VALUE encoder, the fixed
velocity value you specify using the VALUE encoder will
be transmitted regardless of how you actually play the
keyboard. Use KEY VELOCITY MODE if you don’t want
the velocity values to be affected by how you play the
keyboard.
KEY VELOCITY: tch, 1–127
* If you use the VALUE encoder to set the value to “tch”,
the transmitted velocity will correspond to the force
with which you actually play the keyboard.
4 TEMPO
Assigns the tempo
of the F8 Clock messages to the VALUE
encoder.
TEMPO: 20–250
