Before You Begin Playing

Connecting the Pedal Keyboard

■ Connecting a Pedal Keyboard Unit which Has a

PK OUT Connector

1 Before making any connections, make sure that all the devices are turned

off.

2 Set the PEDAL KEYBOARD IN [SELECT] switch of the rear panel to the

PK IN position.

3 Using the special cable that was included with the VK-88, connect the

VK-88’s PK IN connector to the PK OUT connector of your pedal

keyboard unit.

4 Turn on the power of the VK-88.

NOTE

To prevent malfunction and/

or damage to speakers or other

devices, always turn down the

volume, and turn off the

power on all devices before

making any connections.

If the special cable is

connected, it is not necessary

to turn the power of the pedal

keyboard unit on/off.
