AUDIO EFFECTS Menu
Menu item Value (bold text: default value) Explanation
EFFECTS 1–4 (*11) These settings assign functions to the AUDIO EFFECTS [1]–[4] buttons and specify details of their operation.
ASSIGN
Species the function that is assigned to the AUDIO EFFECTS [1]–[4] button.
NONE No function is assigned.
VOICE CHANGER
Turns the voice changer on/o.
Eect Transforms the pitch or character of the voice that is input from the mic.
PLAYBACK (BGM/SE) Plays/stops the music le (background music or sound eect).
REVERB
Turns reverb on/o.
Eect Adds reverberation to the sound.
MUTE Turns the mute function on/o for the audio.
SOLO Turns the solo function on/o for the input audio.
When ASSIGN = VOICE CHANGER
SW OFF, ON
Turns the voice changer on/o.
You can also turn this on/o using the AUDIO EFFECTS button to which the function is assigned.
SW MODE
Species the operation of the AUDIO EFFECTS button.
MOMENTARY The eect is on only while you hold down the button, and turns o when you release the button.
LATCH The eect alternately turns on/o each time you press the button.
TARGET MIC 1, MIC 2 Species the mic audio to which the eect applies.
PITCH -12– +12 Adjusts the pitch of the voice in semitone steps. A setting of “0” is the original pitch.
FORMANT -10– +4– +10
Adjusts the character (formant) of the voice. Settings in the negative (–) direction produce a more
masculine vocal character, and settings in the positive (+) direction produce a more feminine vocal
character. A setting of “0” is the original voice.
ROBOT OFF, ON If this is “ON,” the voice is held at a xed pitch, creating a mechanical robot-like impression.
MIX 0–100 Adjusts the balance between the unprocessed voice (0) and the voice processed by the eect (100).
LED COLOR
RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE,
MAGENTA, CYAN
Species the illumination color of the AUDIO EFFECTS button.
When ASSIGN = PLAYBACK (BGM/SE)
SW OFF, ON Plays/stops the background music or sound eect.
SW MODE
Species the operation of the AUDIO EFFECTS button.
MOMENTARY The eect is on only while you hold down the button, and turns o when you release the button.
LATCH The eect alternately turns on/o each time you press the button.
AUDIO ASSIGN
Selects the music le that will play. Press the [VALUE] knob to see a list of clips.
BriskAfternoon Sample clip of background music.
Applause Sample clip of sound eect (applause).
USB MEMORY
Use a music le saved on the USB ash drive.
Press the [VALUE] knob to view a list of the music les saved in the root directory of the USB ash
drive.

* The extension “.wav” must be added.
* Music les shorter than 10 ms might not play correctly.
* The VR-1HD plays back the music le directly from the connected USB ash drive. Even if a music
le on the USB ash drive is selected, it will not play unless the USB ash drive is connected.
LEVEL -INF–10.0dB Adjusts the playback volume of the music le.
LOOP OFF, ON Turns loop playback on/o.
FADE IN OFF, 0.1–10.0sec Species the fade-in time of the music le.
FADE OUT OFF, 0.1–10.0sec Species the fade-out time of the music le.
LED COLOR
RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE,
MAGENTA, CYAN
Species the illumination color of the AUDIO EFFECTS button.
