When the left gure is displayed, remove all the ink cartridges
and shake them.
Shake it gently so that ink does not spatter.
Reinstall all the ink cartridges in the original slots.

The screen shown in the gure appears.
When the screen shown on the left appears, detach the bottle,
discard the discharged uid in it to make it empty.
CAUTION
Be sure to discard the discharged ink at this step.
A large amount of ink will be discharged during this operation. Be sure to
discard the discharged ink at this step. If you do not discard the discharged
ink at this step, the discharged ink overows from the drain bottle during the
subsequent process.
CAUTION
Before you detach the drain bottle, be sure to wait for the screen to display
"EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE."
Failing to follow this procedure may cause discharged uid to ow out of the
tube and spill, soiling your hands or the oor.
Attach the emptied drain bottle to the machine.

When it nishes, the screen shown in the gure appears again.
Press to return to the original screen.
