5.3.6  Configuring802.1XSettings
Purpose:
The IEEE 802.1X standard is supported by the network cameras, and when the
feature is enabled, the camera data is secured and user authentication is needed
whenconnectingthecameratothenetworkprotectedbytheIEEE802.1X.
Beforeyoustart:
Theauthenticationservermustbeconfigured.Pleaseapplyandregisterausername
andpasswordfor802.1Xintheserver.
Steps:
1.  Enterthe802.1XSettingsinterface:
Configuration>AdvancedConfiguration>Network>802.1X

2.  ChecktheEnableIEEE802.1Xcheckboxtoenablethefeature.
3.  Configure the 802.1X settings, including EAPOL version, user name and
password.
TheEAPOLversionmustbeidenticalwiththatoftherouterortheswitch.
4.  Entertheusernameandpasswordtoaccesstheserver.
5.  Click  tofinishthesettings.

QoS(QualityofService)canhelpsolvethenetworkdelayandnetworkcongestionby
configuringthepriorityofdatasending.
