Important Safety Precautions
Safety Warnings: To use this camera safely, please read and follow
these instructions carefully before use.
Please remove the batteries if low on power in case the camera
becomes damaged caused by battery leakage.
Do not place the camera near open flames such as candles.
Keep the camera and PIR clean and never store it close to a heat
source or in overly soiled places.
Press the camera’s buttons gently – pressing them too hard can
damage the camera.
Do not subject the camera to harsh impacts. Dropping the camera
may result in damage and thus void the warranty.
Do not attempt to dismantle or repair this unit by yourself; there
are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to Rollei only.
Use a slightly dampened lint-free cloth to clean the lens, PIR sen-
sor, IR flash and body of the camera. Do not dismantle the camera
or use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the device.
Before inserting or removing the memory card, make sure that your
hands, the camera, and the memory card are completely dry.
Make sure that no foreign matter such as sand, hair or dirt gets
inside the camera body.
Protect the LCD display and lens from scratches. Even a small
scratch may affect the quality of the images.
If dirt or sand gets on the rubber seal, display or lens, wipe the area
carefully with a soft cloth that will not leave behind any fibers.
Do not use any sharp-edged devices to clean the seal as this
may damage it and cause internal damage to the camera due to
moisture.
