6. Inserting / Removing A Memory Card
Follow the instructions below to insert/remove the SD card (not
included) into/from the camera:
1. Turn the camera off first before inserting/removing the memory
card.
2. Insert the SD card carefully into the SD card slot and in the correct
direction until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the card, press and release it, then pull it out slowly.
Note:
A card can only be inserted in one direction; forcing it may cause
damage. Inserting or removing a card while the camera is on may
damage the files, the card, or the camera. The memory card must be
formatted either via the camera’s MENU or with a PC before use.
7. Mode Switch (OFF/TEST/ON)
After inserting the batteries and SD card the camera can be set into
the following three modes of operation:
• OFF: When the switch is at the OFF position, the camera is turned
off. After inserting the batteries and SD card, the camera can be
operated in the following modes.
• TEST: When the switch is moved to the TEST position in the middle,
the Preview Testing Mode is on; you can adjust the camera settings
or view the photos and videos.
• ON: When the switch is at the ON position to the right, the camera
is in the automatic infrared shooting mode.
