Protecting Images

This feature prevents images from being deleted accidentally (Protect).

1. Set the mode dial to the Playback mode.

2. Select the image that you want to protect by

using the or button

3. Press the menu button.

4. Select “PROTECT” by using the or

button, and press the button.

5. You can select to protect one image or all

images at one time by using the or

button, and press the button.

ONE IMAGE: Protect one image at one time

ALL IMAGES: Protect all images at once

6. Select “UNLOCK” or “LOCK” by using the

or button.

UNLOCK: Unlock the protected image

LOCK: Protect the selected image or all

images

7. Press the button.

•The protected images will be erased if you format the internal memory or the memory card.
