The shutter of your Rollei Prego remains locked...

if there is no battery loaded or the battery is empty,
›
if the lens cover is closed (the camera switched off),
›
during zooming or film rewinding,
›
while the flash is being recharged,
›
while the film compartment is open.
Your Prego is electronically controlled by a microcomputer.
In rare cases, strong electrical or magnetic fields may pose
a problem. Remove the battery for 2 – 3 minutes. The ca-
mera should function normally after reloading the battery.
The camera

Never try to disassemble the camera. It contains high-
voltage circuits that might pose a health hazard. Also,
disassembling the camera would void your warranty.

To avoid electrical shocks, do not touch any interior
parts should the body be damaged.
›
For the same reason, immediately remove the battery
if the camera should get wet.

The camera needs battery power to operate.
›
When loading the battery, watch out for correct polar-
ity.
›
The battery must not be
recharged,
short-circuited or opened,
thrown into fire,
exposed to humidity,
disposed of with household garbage.
›
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
