Switching the camera on / Zooming

Press on/off switch. The lens cover opens and the

display comes to life.

Sight subject through viewfinder and select frame size by

pressing the corresponding zoom button.

To zoom in on distant subjects or for close-ups, press

tele; for wide-angle views, press wide. During zooming,

the display shows the current focal length in the following

steps: 38, 45, 55, 70, 80, 90, 105, 120, 130, 140 mm.

To switch the camera off, press on/off again.

›

The lens will automatically be retracted, and the lens

cover closes.

›

If the camera is left switched on for over three minutes,

it will switch off automatically.
