Holding the camera

Slip your hand through the wrist strap.

›

Hold the camera steady with both hands – above all in

the Tele setting – in order to avoid camera shake.

›

If possible, brace both elbows against your body.

›

Hold the camera close to your eye to see the entire

viewfinder image.

›

Press the shutter release slowly without jerking.

Please note

›

Be sure not to obstruct the lens, the autofocus and

exposure-meter windows and the flash with your fin-

gers, hair or the wrist strap.

›

When shooting in vertical format, hold the camera so that

the flash is at the top to ensure natural illumination.
