Shooting
Aim AF area in the center of the viewfinder at main
subject (p. 7).
Press shutter release halfway. Focus has been set when
the green LED lights.
To take your picture, press the shutter release fully.
Be sure to press the shutter release softly in order to
avoid camera shake.
Should the green LED flash slowly, your subject is bet-
ween 0.68 m and 1 m away, and the camera has
switched to close-up mode.
Should the green LED flash rapidly, your subject is closer
then 0.68 m, and the shutter remains locked.
SHOOTING
While the flash is recharging, the flash indicator will blink
(AUTO), and the shutter remains locked.
Should the red LED flash when the flash is OFF, use a
tripod or other firm support to avoid camera shake. This
applies above all to longer focal lengths (Tele).
Switch the camera off when you are finished. Should the
camera be left switched on for three minutes without
being used, it will switch off automatically. In this case,
the lens will zoom back automatically, and the shutter
remains locked. To take further pictures, press ON/OFF
again.
