Spot / Snap modes
The spot/snap button serves to select one of the following
focusing modes:
Spot AF – This allows precise focusing in a crowded
frame, focus being limited exactly to the AF area visible
in the viewfinder.
Snapshot mode – This sets the focal length to 38 mm
and focus to a preset distance. With depth of field
ranging from 1.3 m to 6 m, this mode is ideal for subjects
that are difficult to focus, such as children at play.
(If you hold the shutter release down, the camera will
expose one picture after another.)
