Care and maintenance

To clean the camera, preferably use a soft and fluffless
cloth.
›
Never use alcohol or other chemical solvents.
›
Remove dust from the lens with the aid of a blower brush.
To remove smudges, carefully wipe with lens tissue or
cloth and special lens-cleaning fluid.
›
Protect the camera from sand, dust and water.
›
Protect the camera from impact, shock and vibrations.
Check for proper operation should the camera be
dropped or receive an impact.
›
Keep front lens and metering windows clean.
›
Store the camera in a dry, cool and dustfree place.
›
Do not leave the camera in a hot place, e.g. in a parked
car or exposed to direct sunlight.
›
The camera will operate flawlessly in temperatures from
–10 °C to +50 °C.
›
During prolonged shooting at low temperatures, a drop
in battery charge may impair the operation of the cam-
era. Keep camera and spare battery well-protected from
the cold, for instance in an inside pocket of your clothing.
›

dealer or an authorized Rollei Service Center.
