DO NOT open the battery. • Contact exposure to battery leakage (lead acid) may cause serious injury. Immediately contact your doctor if exposure occurs. If the chemical is on the skin, immediately give the person water or milk.

Charging Instructions YOU MUST CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE THE FIRST USE! ONLY AN ADULT SHOULD HANDLE THE BATTERY AND CHARGER. To Charge the Battery: 1. Ensure the car is stopped and the power switch is turned off. 2. Unlock and remove the seat. 3. Unplug the red battery connector (A) from the red engine connector (B). 4. Connect the red battery connector (A) to the red battery charger connector (C) and plug (D) into a 120 V outlet. Battery To Unplug the Battery: 1.
Assemble the Front Wheels 9 Front wheel Snap pin Small washer Small washer Wheel cover 1. 2. 3. 4. Slide the small washer onto the front axle. Slide the front wheel onto the front axle. Slide the small washer onto the front axle. Insert the straight end of the snap pin through the hole at the end of the axle to keep the wheel in place. 5. Finally snap the wheel cover on the wheel to complete the assembly. 6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the remaining front wheel.
Assemble the Left Rear Wheel Rear wheel Wheel cover Snap pin Large washer Inner wheel spacer Large washer Left Rear Wheel: 1. Slide the large washer onto the rear axle, then slide the inner wheel spacer onto the axle. 2. Slide the left rear wheel onto the left rear axle. The side with the gear teeth faces inward. 3. Slide the large washer onto the rear axle. 4. Insert the straight side of the snap pin through the hole at the end of the axle to keep the wheel in place. 5.
Assemble the Right Rear Wheel 11 Rear wheel Large washer Wheel cover Snap pin Right Rear Wheel: 1. Slide the right rear wheel onto right rear wheel axle. The side with gear teeth faces inward. (Note: the gear teeth must engage with the gear box.) 2. Slide the large washer onto the rear axle. 3. Insert the straight side of the snap pin through the hole at the end of the axle to keep the wheel in place. 4. Finally snap the wheel cover onto the rear wheel to complete wheel assembly. Helpful Tip: 1.
Assemble the Seat 1. Ensure the lock on the seat is in the unlock position. 2. Align the two hooks on the back and bottom of the car seat with the slots on the back of the battery compartment 3. Insert the hooks into the slots and push the seat down into place 4. Use a flat head screw driver or a coin to turn the lock on the seat back to the locked position. To remove the seat take steps opposite to the steps mentioned above.
Steering Wheel Batteries WARNING! DO NOT mix old and new batteries. DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Steering wheel requires 2 x AAA batteries 1. Open the battery compartment cover with the screwdriver. 2. Insert the two batteries into the battery compartment. 3. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure the cover with the screw.
Operating Instructions Sound Buttons Power Switch Battery Life Power lndicator lndicator Button Shifter Volume Dial MP3 Jack Pedal • • • • • • • • • Push the power switch to turn on the car. The power indicator light will turn on when the car is on. Press the power switch again to turn off the car. Push the shifter up to move forward. Pull the shifter down to go in reverse. Insert the MP3 cable into the MP3 jack and connect to your device. Turn the MP3 on by rotating the on/off dial.
Battery Removal 15 Battery Strap 1. Unlock and remove the seat 2. Disconnect the red battery connector from the red engine connector 3. Loosen and remove the screw from the battery strap using a Phillips screwdriver 4. Slide the battery strap out from the battery strap slot 5. Remove the battery Note: It is not necessary to remove the battery for charging. However, if the battery does not reach the outlet, then it can be removed for charging.
Maintenance Important Battery and Charger Information • Only an adult who has read and understands the safety warnings may handle and operate the battery and battery charger. Keep away from children. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • time. Recharge the battery immediately after each use. Charge for at least 8-12 hours, but no more than 20 hours. Charge the battery at least once a month, even if the vehicle is not used or stored. Never leave the battery in a discharged condition.
General Care • 17 Regularly inspect all vehicle parts to ensure they are in good working condition. • Regularly inspect the charger, cord, plug, and other related parts for damage. • Remove any damaged parts and immediately contact Customer Service for replacement parts. See Service and Repairs on Page 21 for more information. • DO NOT operate the vehicle if there are any damaged parts. • Carefully clean the vehicle with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not get water in or near any electrical parts.
