Verpackungsmaterial Verpackungsmaterial nicht einfach wegwerfen, sondern der Wiederverwertung zuführen.
• Vorsicht! Brandgefahr! Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe oder unterhalb von Vorhängen, Hängeschränken oder anderen brennbaren Materialien in Betrieb. • Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine wärmeunempfindliche Unterlage (keine lackierten Tische, keine Tischdecken). Andernfalls drohen Beschädigungen des Gerätes und/oder der Möbelstücke. • Betreiben Sie das Gerät keinesfalls über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksystem.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme Wischen Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie es sorgfältig ab. Nähere Informationen hierzu finden Sie unter „Reinigung und Pflege“. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine wärmebeständige, stabile und ebene Arbeitsfläche (nicht aus Eisen) und betreiben Sie es nicht in der Nähe von anderen Wärmequellen (Herd, Gasflamme etc.). Der Raum über dem Gerät muss frei sein, der Wandabstand muss auf allen Seiten mind. 10 cm betragen.
• Wird während des Betriebes ein Topf von der Kochstelle entfernt, so blinkt im Display „temp“ (7b) die Anzeige „---“ und im Display „power“ (7c) die Anzeige „-“ und ein periodisches Warnsignal ertönt. Sollte dann innerhalb von 15 Sekunden wieder ein Topf aufgestellt werden, wird der Kochvorgang mit der zuletzt eingestellten Stufe fortgesetzt und eine eventuell vorher eingestellte Laufzeit läuft weiter.
Kochen mit Modus „Leistungsstufen“ Der Modus „Leistungsstufen“ ist ideal zum Kochen von Wasser oder zum Dämpfen. • Zum Kochen mit dem Modus „Leistungsstufen“ berühren Sie den Sensor „+“ (2). Das Gerät schaltet automatisch auf die Leistungsstufe „05“. Im Display (7c) erscheint die Anzeige „05“. HINWEIS: Wenn mit dem Sensor „-“ (2) begonnen wird, startet das Gerät bei der Leistungstufe „09“. • Durch Berühren des „+“ Sensors (2) können Sie die Leistung bis auf Stufe „09“ erhöhen.
HINWEIS: Wenn mit dem Sensor „-“ (3) begonnen wird, startet das Gerät bei der Temperaturstufe „260“. • Durch Berühren des „+“ Sensors (3) können Sie die Temperaturstufe in 10erSchritten bis auf 260 °C erhöhen. • Durch Berühren des „-“ Sensors (3) können Sie die Temperaturstufe in 10erSchritten bis auf 60 °C reduzieren. • Durch dauerhaftes Berühren des „+“ oder „-“ Sensors (3) können Sie die Temperaturstufe schnell erhöhen bzw. reduzieren.
• Wechsel von Modus „Temperaturstufen“ in den Modus „Leistungsstufen“ Berühren Sie während des Betriebes im Modus „Temperaturstufen“ den „ + “ oder „ - “ Sensor (2) für den Modus „Leistungsstufen“ um zum Modus „Leistungsstufen“ zu wechseln. Das Display (7b) erlischt, die vorher benutzte Temperaturstufe wird gespeichert. Das Display für Leistungsstufen (7c) wird aktiv. Sie arbeiten jetzt im Modus „Leistungsstufen“ und können entsprechende Änderungen in der Einstellung vornehmen.
Laufzeit-Einstellung (Timer) - von 1 bis 99 Minuten Die Laufzeit-Einstellung kann sowohl im Modus „Leistungsstufen“ als auch im Modus „Temperaturstufen“ aktiviert werden. • Zum Aktivieren des Modus „Laufzeiteinstellung“ berühren Sie den„ + “ Sensor (4). Das Gerät schaltet automatisch auf den Modus „Laufzeiteinstellung“ um. Im Display (7a) erscheint die Anzeige „01“. Dies bedeutet 1 Minute Laufzeit. ODER • Zum Aktivieren des Modus „Laufzeiteinstellung“ berühren Sie den „ - “ Sensor (4).
UNSER TIPP: Elektrische Geräte mit Modus „Standby“ benötigen auch im Ruhezustand Strom. Sparen Sie Energie, indem Sie Ihr Gerät bei Nichtgebrauch vom Stromnetz trennen (Stecker ziehen). Reinigung und Pflege Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen! Vor der Reinigung Gerät immer abkühlen lassen! • Entfernen Sie eventuelle grobe Verschmutzungen mit einem speziellen Glasschaber von der Glaskeramikplatte, welchen Sie im Fachhandel und in Haushaltsgeschäften erwerben können.
E5 Überhitzungsschutz (Leistungsstufen-Funktion): Die Temperatur auf dem Kochfeld überschreitet während der Leistungsstufen-Funktion den maximal zulässigen Wert von 200 °C (z. B. durch heißes Öl oder Fett, oder einen leeren Topf oder einen sonstigen Metallgegenstand bei eingeschaltetem Gerät). Selbsthilfe: Entfernen Sie die Ursache der Überhitzung. Nach Abkühlung der Kochfläche kann das Gerät wieder in Betrieb genommen werden.

Packing material Do not simply throw the packing material away but recycle it. Deliver paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard packing to collecting facilities.
• Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate telecontrol system. • Check the power cord regularly for damage and deteriorations. Do not operate the appliance when the power cord or the mains plug is damaged. Attention! A damaged power cord presents a hazard of life by electric shock. Have appliances, which do not work faultlessly or which are damaged, immediately and only checked and repaired by the after-sales service. • Do not misuse the power cord for unplugging the appliance.
Getting acquainted with your appliance Touch control sensors The appliance is equipped with touch control sensors which grant an easy and convenient handling. • Touching the sensor with your finger activates the relevant function and an acoustic acknowledgement signal. NOTE: Always keep the control panel clean and dry. Do not touch it with fingers wet and do not use it as a shelf of deposit as this might lead to malfunctions.
Priority regulation Although any other sensor is still activated, the appliance may be brought to the standby mode at any time during operation by touching the associated main switch sensor. Recessed grips for a safe transport At the left and right side below the casing there are practical recessed grips with ribbing, which ensure an easy and convenient transport of the appliance. Operating the appliance Standby mode • Connect the mains plug with the power socket.
• By touching the “-“ sensor (2) you can reduce the power down to level “01“. • By continuously touching the “+ “ or “ - “ sensor (2) you can increase or reduce the power levels very quickly. Details on the power levels: The values indicated are reference values and apply to standard steel pots featuring a diameter of 20 cm.

NOTE: The “booster” mode can only be activated when either the “power level“ or the “temperature level“ mode is preselected. • For cooking in “booster“ mode touch the „booster“ sensor (5). The appliance switches automatically to the maximum performance. The LED for “booster” mode lights up and the “power” display (7c) shows “P”. • To abort the „booster“ mode just touch the „booster“ sensor (5) again, or one of the “+“ / “-“ sensors of the “power level”(2) or “temperature level” (3) mode.
• By touching the “+“ sensor (4) you can increase the operating time in minute intervals up to 99 minutes. • By touching the “-“ sensor (5) you can reduce the operating time in minute intervals. • By continuously pressing the “+“ sensor (3) or “-“ sensor (5) you can increase or reduce the operating time in 5-minute intervals. • Once the set time has elapsed there is an audible signal and the control automatically switches over to standby mode.
• Make sure no water or steam may infiltrate the appliance from below either. • Never use abrasives, steel wool or sharp, scratchy objects. • If there is any dirt visible in the area of the ventilation slots, it can be removed from the outside by means of a vacuum cleaner. Error codes The electronic control features several internal monitoring functions. If an error occurs, the power supply will be quit and an error code will appear on the display.
E7 Overheating protection (“temperature level” mode): The temperature on the cooktop exceeds the maximum allowable value of 240 °C during “temperature level” mode (e. g. due to an empty pot or any other metal object while appliance is switched on). Self-help: Eliminate the cause of overheating. Once the cooktop has cooled, the appliance can be put into operation again. E8 Temperature sensor: The temperature sensor underneath the glass ceramic plate provides an undefined signal.
