Aluminum Roof Coating debe revolverse totalmente con algún mecanismo, antes y durante la aplicación.

Aplíquelo sobre una superficie seca con una brocha suave para techos. Si se aplica sobre una superficie húmeda

provocará que el producto se transforme en un color café. Esparza solamente en una sola dirección. Si se cepilla

demasiado interferirá con el laminado del aluminio. Inicialmente, el recubrimiento aplicado podría aparentar tener

una cubierta color café/dorado, pero en un período de 48 horas se transformará en color aluminio.

COBERTURA - 50 a 75 pies cuadrados (4.7 a 7.0 metros cuadrados) por galón, dependiendo de la

superficie a cubrir.

LIMPIEZA - Limpie las herramientas con diluyente de pintura o alcoholes minerales. Límpiese las manos con

un impiador sin agua para tal efecto.l

chas pueden evitarse con el mantenimiento de rutina, el fabricante no se responsabiliza al respecto.

warmer in winter.

Roof Coating is specially designed for use on mobile homes. May be used on prepared

roll roofing, weathered galvanized iron, tin and cinderblock. Seals hairline cracks and pin-

holes with Roofers Choice #15 Plastic Roof Cement to help increase the water

resistance of the roof.

PREPARE THE SURFACE - Surface must be clean, dry and in good repair. Sweep or

hose down area to remove all dust, dirt and residues. Scrub areas where water ponds with

detergent and water and rinse well. Remove all loose slag and dirt from roof surface. Wire

brush all rusted metal and repair all cracks, breaks, splits and holes by embedding poly-

ester fabric or open mesh fabric between 2 heavy coats of Roofers Choice

#15

Plastic Roof Cement applied over and at least 2 inches beyond repair. Allow mastic

to cure 30 days before coating to avoid discoloration. Old, weathered roofs should be

primed with a thin application of an asphalt based primer. Primer is also recommended for

metal roofs. Allow primer to dry a minimum of 48 hours prior to application of Roofers

Choice #67 Kool Top

METHOD OF APPLICATION - Roofers Choice

#67 Kool Top

Mobile Home Aluminum Roof Coating should be mechanically stirred thoroughly.

Apply with a soft bristle roof brush to a dry surface. Application to a damp surface will

cause this product to appear brown. Spread in one direction only. Over brushing will inter-

fere with the leafing action of the aluminum. Initially, the applied coating may appear to

have a brown/gold cast but will turn to an aluminum color within 48 hours.

COVERAGE - 50 to 75 square feet per gallon, depending on surface to be covered.

CLEAN UP - Clean tools with paint thinner or mineral spirits. Clean hands with a water-

less hand cleaner.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE - Sunlight causes all asphalt products to form a water-

soluble residue, especially during the first summer after application. This residue is dis-

solved by the dew and can run down and stain the sides of buildings not protected by gut-

ters. To prevent this, periodically hose down the roof surface and walls. Prompt scrubbing

with water and detergent will usually remove any stains that have occurred. As the poten-

tial for staining is a normal characteristic of all asphalt-based coatings, and since staining

can be prevented by routine maintenance, we, the manufacturer, disclaim any liability.

When transporting this product, be sure the pail is secured and the lid is tight. Do not allow

pail to tumble as this may loosen the lid and allow leakage to occur. This coating is not

recommended over gravel, rubber or PVC sheet roofing, shingles of any kind, or old roofs

that are too dry and brittle to withstand the shrinkage stresses that occur after the

application of any coating.
