Product Name: Roots PHC BioPak, Roots BioPak

Product Description: Water dispersible microbial inoculant. This product is a water-soluble

microbial soil innoculant in a powder blend. It contains numerous species of harmless bacteria

that help promote soil fertility. Bacteria in this product are naturally-occurring, and have not

been genetically modified. (Biosafety Level 1, Non-GMO)

Live soil bacteria in spore form on soluble, nontoxic carrier with Leonardite mineral extract, and

plant extracts. Bacteria are naturally-occurring, and have not been genetically modified.

Section 4 – First Aid Measures

These bacteria are not typically associated with disease or infection in normal healthy

individuals. (Biosafety Level 1). However, normal hygiene practices are in order.

Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. If material contacts open wounds, wash affected

area and treat with an approved medical antiseptic. If a suspected skin, eye, or respiratory

irritation or infection occurs, see a physician for treatment.

Eyes: If material gets into eyes, rinse eyes with gentle flowing water for several minutes or until

discomfort subsides. Watch for allergic reaction or infection. See physician if irritation occurs

and persists, or if infection develops.

If ingested: Drink water to dilute. Treat symptoms, if any occur. Do not induce vomiting unless

If allergic reaction or difficulty breathing occurs, move to fresh air, and get immediate medical attention. The bacteria contained in this product are strains of typically harmless soil and water bacteria, and are not associated with disease or infections under normal circumstances (Biosafety Level 1). However, reasonable precautions are in order.

Eye Protection: safety glasses recommended if possible eye contact hazard exists. Other Protective Clothing or Equipment: Open wounds or disruptions in the skin should be covered with a clean, dressing or patch before handling product to avoid contact with wounds.

No adverse ecological effects are reported or expected to be associated with normal use of this product, or with accidental spill. Fish toxicity: None expected based on composition. Daphnia toxicity: None expected based on composition. Biodegradable: May increase BOD and COD in aquatic ecosystems.
