LIST OF APPROVED MATERIALS
The contractor shall use materials in their works subject to inspection prior to dispatch, by owner or his authorized
representative of any materials, as deemed necessary in accordance with the following list, all materials not otherwise
specified shall be in accordance with the latest Indian Standard Specification or equivalent , where such exists and
prior approval of NLUO / PMC. The contractor shall be bound to offer sample of materials. Which are claimed to be
conforming to I.S. specifications, for testing at an approved Test Laboratory.
Contractor shall purchase all materials from the makers or their authorized stockists only. Necessary documentary evidences must be
produced to the Owner or their authorized representative on demand. Contractor shall be bound to supply items of any make of the
items as per the choice of the Owner / PMC.
1. Acceptable Materials List (Internal)
1.1 Conduits - P.V.C.
a) Make : ISI Marked.
b) Accessories : Same make as that of conduit.
1.2 Wiring Cables - PVC Insulated Copper
a) Make : Finolex./ Havell’s / Polycab/R.R Kable
b) Voltage Grade : 1100 Volts & as per IS 694 / 1990
