It

Since
this
c
o
rr
ec
t

on
m
a

of the

arac
t
e
r

za
ti
on curve,
it
should
not
be
used
in
place
of
a sensor
trim
over
the full
sensor
range.
When
performing
a zero
trim,
ensure
that
t
h
e
equalizing valve is open and all
w
e
t
legs
are
filled
to
the
c
o
rr
ec
t
levels. Line pressure should be applied
to
the
device
during
a zero
trim
to
e
l
im
ina
t
e
line
pressure errors. Refer
to “Manifold

20.
Note

Zero
trim
is zero based, and absolute pressure devices reference absolute zero.

low
trim
within the

The
low
tr
im
function
provides an o
ff

t
c
o
rr
ec
t

o
n
similar
to
the
zero
trim
function,
but
it
does no
t
require zero-based
input.
Sensor
trim
is a
two-point
sensor
ca
li
bra
t
io
n
where
two

n
d-poin
t
pressures are
applied,

all
output
is linearized

ee
n
them.
Always adjust

e
low
trim
value

r
s
t
to
establish

h
e
c
o
rr
ec
t

Ad
j
u
s
t
m
e
nt
of

h
e
high
trim
value provides a slope
c
o
rr
ec
t
i
o
n
to
t
h
e
char-
ac
t
e
ri
zation
curve based
on the low
trim
value. The
trim
values
allow you
to o
p
t
i
m
i
z
e
performance over
your
specified measuring range
a
t
the
calibra
t
ion
t
e
mpe
r
a
t
ure
.
During
a
trim
ope
r
a
t
io
n,
the
device is placed
in high power
refresh
mode, which pro
v
i
d
e
s
frequen
t
pressure me
a
s
ure
m
e
n
t
upd
a
t
e
s.
This behavior allows
for more accurate
ca
li
bra
t
io
n
of
t
h
e
device. When
the
device is
in high power
refresh
mode, the
ba
tt
e
r
y
power
supply
will be
de
ple
t
ed
more rapidly.
