1.
Disconnect
the
vehicle's
negative battery terminal.

Your
VW
vehicle
may
vary.
2.
Remove
the
dash
trim
panel
with
a plastic
pry
tool.
3.
Remove
the
airbag harness at back
of
dash
trim.
Removal
of
any airbag harness
with
the
battery
connected may
trigger
an Airbag Sensor
error
and
will
require a
dealership
to
re-program.
4.
Remove
the
4 radio mounting bolts
5.
Carefully slide
the
radio out,
release
the
main
connector
plug
and remove
the
antenna connections.
