4. Release the REX button.
5. You now have 10 seconds to program a new Programming
code into the access control unit using the initial default code
1234, before the controller reverts to the existing code.
4.9.17 Exiting Secure Mode if Normal/Secure Code was
Lost
The unit must be in Secure mode; otherwise, this does not
work. Make sure that the left LED is red before proceeding.
To exit Secure mode if Normal/Secure Code was lost:
1. Remove power from the power supply unit.
2. Press the REX button on the power supply unit.
3. Apply power to the unit with the REX button pressed.
4. Release the REX button.
5. You now have 10 seconds to exit Secure mode using the initial
d
efault Normal/Secure code 3838.
6. Program a new Normal/Secure code as described in
Section 4.9.6.
