Rotel’s “06” Series has become an enduring staple of the European audio enthusiast marketplace. The combination of understated

With increased North American interest in affordable performance stereo systems, Rotel of America is pleased to introduce the latest
versions of two popular models in the “06” series, the RA-05SE integrated amplier and the RCD-06SE CD player. Both deliver a full
measure of Rotel’s ‘performance beyond expectation’ legacy at the modest retail price of $599 each.
The RCD-06SE player is the result of much of the work that went into Rotel’s new agship 15 Series. This includes the replacement
of the original Burr Brown DAC with a new higher performing model from Wolfson. Key components and circuits to support this new
DAC have also been upgraded. These include selected components for both lter and buffer stages, precision resistors used in the
input circuits, low-noise resistor feeds to the DAC, and selected input and output coupling capacitors. All of which adds up to a level
of CD playback associated with far more costly designs.
