NOTE: Before using the RR 1070 remote control, it is recommended that the batteries be installed in the remote and the remote be
connected to the AC charger provided. The RR 1070 can be used while attached to the charger and it is recommended it be connected
to the charger for at least 10 hours to ensure maximum battery life.
The RR 1070 can be congured for use with the RSDX 02 DVD Receiver
with the following steps:
1. Briey touch the LCD screen of the RR 1070 to display the HOME
screen. (The black button at the top of the LCD screen should display
HOME. If it does not, press the small HOME icon located at the
bottom of the LCD screen.)
2. Press the MENU button located on the lower left corner of the LCD
screen to display the Main Menu.
3. On the main menu, press the SETUP button.
4. From the Setup Menu, press the BRAND NAME button.
5. Press the ROTEL button as the Brand Name.
6. A list of Rotel models should now appear on the display. Press the
Down arrow at the top of the LCD screen to scroll the list down. The
RSDX 02 US should be listed at the top of the second page of Rotel
models. Press the RSDX 02 US selection from the list.
7. Once the RSDX 02 US has been selected, the display will change to
a test key page, allowing you to verify the correct model has been
selected by testing the buttons. Press the OK button to exit this
page. The display should list a conrmation message to acknowledge
the setup is completed, and the RR 1070 will return to the Main Menu
screen.
8. Press the HOME button to return to the Home screen, and choose the
ROTEL button to enter the RSDX 02 remote control screen.
9. Press the DVD button on the rst page of the RSDX 02 screen to
complete the setup process.
